It is tucked up a narrow back street and exudes charm. We have just returned from a long weekend in Rome and really enjoyed the Mario de' Fiori 37.
Very comfortable and a great situation so it is 5 stars from me! (There is no bar or restaurant in the hotel) We were given a voucher for a welcome drink in the roof top bar of their sister hotel and this is definitely worth a visit. The hotel owner has produced a booklet for guests with lots of recommendations and we used this to select a different restaurant every evening and a place for breakfast. This is a lovely part of Rome to wander around and is not far from the major attractions. The hotel is on a narrow street just around the corner from the Spanish Steps. The reception staff were unfailingly polite and helpful and the location is fantastic. However the standard of decor and cleanliness was very good. Our one was termed a junior suite but it is really just a room with ensuite and some Nespresso coffee making facilities. It also means you need 2 goalkeeping coaches, 1 for shot stopping and 1 for handling & distribution.We stayed here for 3 nights in February 2014 and it proved to be an excellent choice. This means that you need 2 fitness coaches, 1 for strength training and 1 for aerobic training. Remember that to get full stars from each coach, you need to assign him on just one training area at a time.
